FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Hardwood vs. LVP — which should I choose?
Hardwood adds resale value and refinishes for decades; LVP is cheaper, fully waterproof, and great for basements, kitchens, and homes with pets. Our crew installs both — we'll talk through your specific space.
Can you refinish my existing hardwoods?
Yes — if the wear layer is thick enough. We sand to bare wood, stain (if changing color), and finish with water-based polyurethane that cures fast and looks great.
How long does a tile floor install take?
A standard kitchen or bath tile install takes 2–4 days including prep, set, grout, and seal.
Do you do heated floors?
Yes — electric floor-heating mats mats under tile, with a programmable thermostat. Best installed during a remodel.
Can you fix my squeaky floor?
Yes — sometimes from above with screws, sometimes from the basement with shims and screws into the joists. We diagnose first.
